Accessibility

The decision should work without a mouse, map, chart, or color cue.

Nature Says When targets WCAG 2.2 AA across supported mobile and desktop browsers.

Current design commitments

  • Visible labels, logical headings, keyboard operation, and large touch targets.
  • Verdicts and alerts use text and structure, never color alone.
  • System light, dark, reduced-motion, and forced-color preferences are respected.
  • Results move focus to the answer heading after calculation.
  • Core guidance remains available without a map or visual chart.
  • Nature Says Where includes a state-and-city picker and complete hourly table alongside its map and charts.

Verification

Launch review includes automated assertions, keyboard-only operation, VoiceOver on available Apple devices, 200% zoom and text spacing, contrast, reduced motion, forced colors where available, and critical mobile states. External disabled-participant testing remains a documented post-launch audit, not a claim of completed V1 testing.
