South Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 845 PM MST. * At 538 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Topawa, San Miguel, South Komelik, Choulic, Newfield, Coldfields, Fresnal Canyon and Hashan Chuchg. This includes Route 286 between mile markers 28 and 30. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Indian Route 19 south of Topawa.
